Dear Guests,
The “Hospitality Agreement” below provides information to help you make best use of your services for a pleasant stay. Our guests are the heart of our Agriturismo; we depend on your constant feedback for ongoing improvement of our services. We welcome all suggestions and recommendations.

Podere Fontanino
For three generations, our family has owned farmland and oak and chestnut groves in nearby Palazzo del Pero. Our “impossible dream” was to own a farmhouse for welcoming guests. It took years of searching and work, but we finally bought this house, an abandoned ruin, in 2014. After five more years of economic sacrifice, mental energy, and paperwork, we reached our goal.
While maintaining all the characteristics of a Tuscan farmhouse, we improved the house structurally and thermally with an eye to the environment. It is equipped with a solar energy system and a pellet stove for heat in order to keep the countryside as green as possible.
In the family chestnut grove, we integrated some of our cousin Sauro’s fruit olive trees and a truffle plot. Barbara, a lover of bees, bought from an elderly neighbor about twenty hives for wildflower honey production.
Our guestrooms are all proudly named for our family’s products.
